The schedule for this shoot was extremely tight. We had just one day to film everything, and I had only two days to edit and deliver the final video but managed to get it done in 24HRS. There were quite a few hiccups during the process like Zino and Gbandz accidentally switching places during the walking shot at the beginning. It was such an obvious oversight, but it completely slipped past us while shooting. Another thing we missed was shooting the story that Tianna was supposed to be watching while in the hairdresser’s. The story was meant to be taken in the perspective of JC on his phone. To work around it, we improvised by using audio from a previous scene to make it seem like she was actually watching it.

Moral of the story is that no matter how much you plan a shoot, something will probably go wrong and mistakes will happen along the way, so be ready to improvise and adapt.

This was mainly shot in the London Barbican Estate. The location has a really nice blend of brutalist architecture and the greenery that grows all over it, which gives it a strong contrast and makes it more viusally appealing. The tall buildings also add depth to the shots and make the space feel bigger and more layered. Overall a great place to shoot at.

For the main gear, we used a Sony A7IV, a gimbal that was operated by Slym, a reflector to bounce sunlight back onto the talents, two wireless DJI mics, a tripod, and for lenses, a 70–200mm and a 24–70mm.

Huge thanks to JC for trusting me with the shoot and edit.
